Recent email sent out by the Indiana Democratic Party:
A way that you can help….
If you support Democrats standing up for Public Education, and you can afford to bolster our efforts, please consider making a contribution today so that we can maintain our strong commitment to this cause. The Governor and his Republican lawmakers have drawn a clear line in the sand: it’s our way or the highway. Democrats chose the highway. In the end, it’ll also be the high road. We can’t afford to let Republicans run our state into the ground by stomping all over our rights and workers.
Please stand with us as we stand up to an agenda that’s wrong for Indiana.
Also If you would rather send donations to help with Democratic House members expenses here is the address:

With the launch of StandWithOhio.com I’ll be spending the week in Columbus, Ohio. The purpose of the visit is two fold:
A) I’m helping the tea party groups in Ohio coordinate a counter-rally against the unions and in support of SB5
B) I’ll be filming and documenting the union rally on Tuesday (March 1) and the counter rally by tea partiers on Wednesday (March 2)
For those who are not yet familiar with Ohio Senate Bill 5, please click here and gain some knowledge on the subject. I’ll post the key points here.
* Eliminate tenure as the only consideration in deciding who gets laid off
* Require employees to pay 20% of their health insurance premiums
* Implement merit-based pay for some government workers.
* Restrict teachers, firefighters, police and university employees’ collective bargaining ability
Real Clear Politics has a great column out asserting the public unions in Wisconsin are dreaming of a “Socialist Utopia,” which is why this may ultimately be a huge losing battle for them.
The Democratic lawmakers who have gone on the lam in Wisconsin and Indiana-and who knows where else next-are exhibiting a literal fight-or-flight response, the reaction of an animal facing a threat to its very existence.
Why? Because it is a threat to their existence. The battle of Wisconsin is about the viability of the Democratic Party, and more: it is about the viability of the basic social ideal of the left.
It is a matter of survival for Democrats in an immediate, practical sense. As Michael Barone explains, the government employees’ unions are a mechanism for siphoning taxpayer dollars into the campaigns of Democratic politicians.
But there is something deeper here than just favor-selling and vote-buying. There is something that almost amounts to a twisted idealism in the Democrats’ crusade. They are fighting, not just to preserve their special privileges, but to preserve a social ideal. Or rather, they are fighting to maintain the illusion that their ideal system is benevolent and sustainable.
Nail on the head.
The Wisconsin fight has spilled over into other states now, however, and Ohio is about to be right smack in the middle of it.
I have it on good sources the Ohio Senate will vote on SB5 this week. The SEIU knows this and they’re now planning mega rallies in Columbus as early as Tuesday morning.
The Ohio Governor is addressing the issue in the media, standing ready to fight when the call comes.
Ohio tea party groups are countering the unions on Wednesday. We’re asking that anyone who is in Ohio get to the State House on Wednesday. If you know someone in Ohio, have them contact their Senator and THEN get to the State House on Wednesday.
This fight is VITAL in the survival of our nation and we need to support it at every turn.

Union animals escalating violence across the country…
BigGovernment.com has the startling tale of a Teamster Jacket-wearing union goon attacking a Tea Party member at a protest held in Sacramento, California.
Naturally, even as this union scumbag was manhandling a Tea Partier, he was yelling through a bullhorn that Tea Partiers are “fascists.”
The union thug was later issued a citation by Sacramento police for his physical assault.
I hate to say this, but I am afraid that these union thugs won’t be happy until someone is seriously injured at one of these protests. Unonistas cannot restrain the abject hatred they feel for Americans and the union left’s long, violent history augers that someone is going to get hurt sooner rather than later. I dearly hope that my fears are never realized, but it’s certainly hard to deny the distinct possibility. I certainly don’t want anyone hurt, here, not on any side of this budget debate.
SecularStpidest also has posted what it is claiming is an interview with the another guy that got manhandled in Atlanta, Georgia by a union thug…

Even as it tops the list of organizations spending money on political causes, the National Education Association (NEA) is planning to double the amount of its members’ dues spent on politics so that it can spend yet more on political campaigns — and all left-wing causes to boot.
Last year the NEA teachers union spent over $56 million on left-wing political causes but that is not enough according to union’s leadership. They want more. In 2010 the NEA took $10 from each member and spent that amount on its political activism. Going forward the NEA has announced that it will hike that amount to $20 per member.
The spending hike supposedly has a five-year sunset time limit on it, but as Mike Antonucci notes, the last time such a hike was proposed it also had a sunset provision but that provision was never implemented.
This raise in political spending comes at a time when the NEA has seen membership fall by some 54,000 members and found a $14 million shortfall in its general operating budget.
One wonders how members feel whose organization can’t even pay its bills but is doubling its spending on politics?

Wisconsin’s MacIver Institute reports on how left-wing radicals are fooling sick people in Wisconsin into imagining that Governor Walker’s budget proposal is meant to kill all sick people.
Here is one of those poor people that have been bamboozled into imagining that they are going to be killed by the state of Wisconsin because Governor Walker is attempting to instill some fiscal sanity in the Badger State.
Too bad this deluded woman hasn’t been paying attention to Barack Obama whose Obamacare is filled with the sort of rationing that this woman fears and whose administration is filled with people that have repeatedly said that they want to cut off care for the sickest among us due to budgetary considerations.
Meanwhile, as these teachers flout their actual jobs and continue to flood the state capitol with protests, MacIver has calculated that these union toughs could cost the state as much a $9 million tax dollars.
Naturally, the commies and socialists are also flooding the state with their hat-based, anti-American activities.
Notice that these commies and socialists are all half educated, punk kids all under 25 years of age, people who don’t have the common sense nor the historical perspective to even understand what they heck they are babbling about. Proof to the adage that children should be seen and not heard.
Ann Althouse also has a video proving how little these left-wingers care about war memorials, too. In the Wic. State House is a memorial to Wisconsin’s soldiers and these leftists were using the war memorial as a backstop upon which to paste their left-wing protest signs.

At a rally in New Jersey, we see more teachers that don’t deserve to be allowed near children for their ignorance of history, their wild-eyed hatred, and their outright stupidity.
In this video we see “teachers” who don’t feel bad about parading around in the streets while their children are left without teachers. Worse, we see this historically ignorant, fact starved fools that think that Governor Chris Christie will start murdering them in the streets like Libyan strongman Muammar Gadhafi has been doing in Libya.
People like this should be immediately fired. There is NO comparison between the current anti-union sentiment being evinced by the majority of Americans today and the murderous oppression being perpetrated by Islamicists in the Middle East and northern Africa.
A so-called teacher that equates Gov. Christ Christie to a Gadhafi-like monster is too stupid to be allowed to teach our children.
