<description>With 24 years in the USPS I feel I can offer some input. I'm not here in any way to chastise but I truly sense a frustration in your column. You can quite easily stir a nest in any business if thats what you set out to accomplish. And I just wonder if a patent and a monopoly are the same practice? You are correct in your assumption of no class in cussing and swearing, how ever, there is none in attacking another mans profession either. Mr. Muth I have to disagree with you when you claim to work 12 hour days 6 days a week and some on Sunday. I know that I could not physically do that as a letter carrier with out shortening the life span of my knee's and back. And if you can do your job while on vacation, well Sir...I would call that more a hobby then I would a physically challenging job. And for the record "GOING POSTAL" not so true. Thats just become cliche in todays society because for what ever the reason people relate a mass killing to the postal service rather than label it say...GOING HIGH SCHOOL, GOING COLLEGE, GOING SKIN HEAD, or any other silly catch you can think of. The postal service is actually a very safe place to work. But like any other business with over 750,000 employees, your gonna find a bad one now and again. I do like my job Sir and no no one need hold a gun to my head. But until you wear a mailmans shoes I suggest you watch the nest you stir.

Have a great vacation, don't work too hard
